A gorgeous top quality gaming counter with finely fretted border of scrolling leaves, stems, fruit and flowers.  This Mother of Pearl Chinese Gaming Counter is wire wrapped with 14k/20 gold fill wire.  It is unusual in having a full scene to one side and a character scene in a roundel to the other.  This chip was created in 1840.
