Ametrine-Cacoxenite with Amethyst Crystal Pendant Necklace
From an old collection I use 14k/20 gold fill wire to create a beautiful Ametrine with Cacoxenite stone along with an Amethyst Crystal pendant. I then took the pendant and added it to a glass bead necklace. The necklace is approximately 18 inches in length.
Pendant Size: Approximately 3 x 2 1/2 inches
Ametrine is a rare and unusual stone which occurs in quartz when amethyst and citrine reside in the same crystal. Because the color zoning effect is natural, no two ametrines will ever be exactly alike.
Cacoxenite forms within crystal or amethyst as an inclusion. It is a rather rare occurance, and can create a visually spectacular stone.
This cacoxenite has inclusions of Quartz, Hematite, Strengite, Beraunite, Rockbridgeite, Limonite, and Amethyst.
